Let me speak to you as a brother

One true poet to another

I talk out loud alone

Another vocal freak

I wish to sit down, you and I

And hear your genius speak

I see your tortured soul

Inscribed upon the paper

Why when Lady Sanity was near

Did you always have to rape her

I am sorry for your pain

But I thank you for the words

I guess one without the other

Would be like wings without the birds
